- I am a single mom to an awesome one year old son, Jayden. He is my miracle child and I don't know what I'd be without him. I'm just trying to find my place in this world like everyone else. I'm back to starting from the ground up after filing for divorce and being a stay-at-home mom. Whatever I need to do to get on my feet and take care of my child, I will do. I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in 2000, accompanied by Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome. There is no cure and it is/can be fatal. I've had some rough times, but I keep on going. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a slow hell, but then I see my son and I am reminded of one of the reasons I am here. I just keep reminding myself to turn to God, He is the one with all the answers.
